Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StrixBook (the "Service"), operated by STRIX, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("STRIX," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

StrixBook is a platform that lets businesses manage appointments and lets their clients book appointments. We provide the technology; we are not a party to the underlying service agreement between a business and its clients, and we are not responsible for the services those businesses provide.

• Provide accurate, complete information and keep it current.
• Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Pricing. Paid plans start at $10 USD per month, which includes one location, plus $3 USD per month for each additional location. Taxes may apply.

Free trial. New accounts include a 30-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial.

Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before your trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically at the end of the trial and will automatically renew each month at the then-current price until you cancel. By starting a trial or subscription, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the billing section of your admin dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods.

Price changes. We may change pricing; we will give reasonable advance notice, and changes apply to the next billing period.

• Appointments are subject to availability and the relevant business's approval.
• Cancellation and no-show policies are set by each business, not by StrixBook.
• We are not liable for services provided by businesses using the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or to violate others' rights.
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited communications.

If you use the Service to collect your clients' personal data, you are the controller of that data and STRIX acts as your processor. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

The Service and its content, features, and functionality are owned by STRIX, LLC (strixstudio.com) and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STRIX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold STRIX harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content or data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Virginia, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

We may modify these Terms. For material changes we will provide notice (for example, by email or in the Service). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
